In 1962, Keyser was invited to teach Woodworking and Furniture Design at the world-renowned School for American Craftsmen at RIT. Outside the classroom, Keyser created speculative furniture to exhibit, and began accepting commissions for furniture and sculpture for education commercial, and religious applications. He was invited to exhibit in Objects USA, organized by the American Craft Museum and traveled internationally.
